Seaside Mushrooms — a shell-capped mushroom on the shore

Flagler Beach, Florida · 29.47° N

Where the salt air meets the mycelium.

Small-batch gourmet & functional mushrooms, grown by hand by a family on the Florida coast.

Fresh lion’s mane from our grow room

I · the grow

Grown with love. Harvested by hand. Eaten by us first.

Lion’s mane, reishi and cordyceps, fruited in a grow room a few blocks from the Atlantic. Chaga is the exception — it is a birch conk, not a cultivated mushroom, so ours is wild-harvested rather than grown. Fresh clusters go to the weekend market; the rest becomes capsules, dual-extract drops, gummies and coffee that ship anywhere in the country.

We only sell what we would eat ourselves — and we do, every day.

You do not command a living thing. You give it the conditions it needs, keep everything else out, and let it do what it already knows how to do.

III · the family

Two people, one obsession with doing it right.

Morrigan keeps the grow room humming and the harvests on schedule — and has just published her first novel, Survival Is Buoyancy. Scott is the science behind the spores — twenty years as a security architect, now a mushroom farmer who keeps every culture vigorous and writes down what he learns.

Paracoding.AI

The open-source control plane that runs the business — a fleet of AI strains, named after the grow room, so we can get back to the mushrooms.

V · in print

A press that grows its own books.

Morrigan B. McDonald’s Survival Is Buoyancy — Book One of The Great Thaw, a Southern Gothic apocalypse — and Scott’s PARACODING series: civilization read as physics, GPU failover read as a DNS problem, and the grow log of the fleet itself.

All four on Amazon, published through our own imprint on this farm.

VI · field notes

Watch us grow, one clip at a time.

From first pins to market mornings, we film the whole grow — the harvests, the science, and the coastal life around it.
